Perspective is the view or vision we take of given data. Sociologists have done extensive research that indicates perspective is influenced by upbringing and that our perspectives are often molded in childhood and adolesence from rolemodels, media, advertising, family and so forth. For most people, their perspective is a conduit of information and based on their individual ideas, they see the world as they expect it and not as it really is.

When discussing Perspective with our clients, we ask them to review the image below… . There are two very distinct perspectives of this one image. Audiences to our "free workshops" are often divided over which perspective they see! but when we start to change their references points and provide new experiences, their perceptions change. This is a very valuable tool in helping reshape finance ideologies.
